Location: Yellowstone National Park
Collection: Landscape Trees Yellowstone
Camera: Nikon D80. Lens: 300
Photographer's note: Entering Yellowstone long before sunrise, I took an unmarked dirt road and found these trees growing on a nearby hill, each brilliantly silhouetted even in the dim twilight. I was intrigued by the steep descending angle of the hill, the variety of tree shapes, and the perfect symmetry of the way these trees reached straight upward toward the sky. Moments before sunrise the light illuminated the clouds creating a beautiful palette of blues and pinks.
